On Tuesday, October 6, Oasis will launch a balloon release to help kick off Domestic Violence Awareness Month and celebrate the spirit of domestic violence survivors. The event will be held at 9 a.m. at 1001 Ryan St. on the steps of the Historic Lake Charles Courthouse.
“Flowers on the Lake” celebration on Thursday, October 29, at 6 pm at the Lake Charles Civic Center Seawall. Oasis will honor the memory of Southwest Louisiana residents who have lost their lives to domestic violence within the last 12 months.
Join the Oasis staff in painting SWLA purple at Painting With a Purpose. Painting With a Purpose will be held on Sunday, October 4, from 4-6 p.m. at the Painting With A Twist location at 4421 Nelson Road.
