Description:

People with disabilities who experience abuse often experience unique dynamics, perpetrators and perpetrator tactics. Moreover, barriers in the services they turn to for support and justice may prevent survivors with disabilities from being able to leverage resources for safety that are typically available to survivors without disabilities. This webinar will review unique dynamics of abuse for people with disabilities, the barriers those survivors face when seeking help and offer strategies for increasing capacity.
